What Time Is It?

Time is precious, time is gold, and time is priceless. Every saying that goes by the theme implies time is such a valuable phenomenon. It is because we don’t get a second chance in spending the moment, it is now or never. Time is the only thing that has no beginning, nor an end. It is also the only thing which cannot be stopped. Everything that exists gets created in time, exists in time, and decays in time. Time is vast, time is unlimited. It does not see who is ruling, it does not see who is alive or who is dead, it neither dances to a rich man’s music, nor does it take pity on a poor man’s pleading. One cannot blame it, one cannot contain it, one cannot control it, neither one can one create it, nor can one destroy it.

Now it seems obvious that such a power definitely makes it the most valuable, doesn’t it? Whatever you read so far, even that moment has passed, it is now the this moment which is on. We have no way of predicting the future as accurately as we can justify the past. There exists the concept of right time and wrong time, a common misconception, time is the same, and time does not wait. There also exists the concept of time running faster and slower, although figuratively, time runs at the same pace. Just like the clock hanging on our walls, our mind has a clock hanging which never shuts down for its life time. Every morning it gives us with 86,400 seconds which is the most practically small denomination. It is our choice to either spend every second of it making a change, or spend every second just breathing. It is our choice to either take every second as ‘our’ time, or let it pass and wait for it. It is our choice either to live our life to the fullest, or see ourselves become the dullest. It is our choice either to decide what to do with time, or let it decide what to do with us. It is our choice.
